The app stopped working for me; I can see it under "apps" but I can't even open it. I've reset iDrive but no dice. Anyone seeing similar?

Not exactly the same issue . The app is there.
When I open it, the automatic window box
cannot be selected or checked off.
Message says:
Function not available in the guest profile.
Please log in.

I’ve never used it before. What does it actually do?

I ready tried signing out and back in amongst other things like soft resetting iDrive. I guess I'm the only one having this problem.

Reset iDrive last night and simply let the car sleep overnight. Functionality is back again.

Excellent. These types of glitches are impossible to figure out.

Just curious. What do you use the function for and why do you like it?

I use it weekly at the drive thru and at the gym parking lot ticketing system. Window auto winds down at each of these points. So yeah, mostly use it for the convenience at spots I frequent.
