These are not X5 angel eyes, you get these if you don't go for the laser lights, no matter if 3er / 4er or any X car...

BMWs new strategy, if you want some nice looking DLRs, you have to opt for the highest light trim

The rear quarter panel when viewed from the front 3/4 is lifeless. It looks like a cheap, poorly rendered version of a Mustang with a dusting of Accord coupe. This car is beyond horrible and I hope BMW learns their lesson. This coupled with the cartoon grille on the 7 series just shows how much they have lost it.

All BMW’s look much better when you get the laser light upgrade. But I don’t think any of us will get use to that grille

Too bad the sheep will still buy it in droves. This guy changed all the inherent traits of a BMW design and should be fired. Screw China, they will gobble up anything that signify luxury so there was no need to dismantle the design language completely. I sure hope it sells badly because I will not buy this car or any future iteration that follows this design mantra.

This is not about resisting change. I love change, hell when I sold my E46 after more than a decade of great driving pleasure I bought my first Lexus ( likely last lol). Yet, here I am, returned for the G20. So, If the G22 is indication of the future I will either jump ship at lease end or buy a manual M2C .

Front looks a little better but the fact you can't get a true blacked out front sucks. Wheels are trash and that rear end looks unfinished and forgot about. Just no good.

Less than a year ago I guess the 3 that we currently have (Z4, i3S, and X7) have all been deemed ugly by the masses but are all great cars nonetheless. Somehow, 2 of them don’t have the hofmeister kink and the world survived. I get that design is important, and everybody is certainly entitled to their opinion. This isn’t directed at you personally but I wouldn’t be so fast to swear off a car because it looks a little goofy. Particularly on an enthusiast forum, it’s surprising to see the volume of people that aren’t even interested in how the thing drives.

2 series has a chubby face and the praise is unanimous
