Spark plug help

Would it be okay to run .022 gapped one step colder spark plugs if I’m running a jb4 with fbo and not a real tune? Feedback is appreciated

One of those things that will have to be tried out to see if the experience is worth it for you.

Generally - larger the gap the better MPG and efficiency. That said, once you start getting into higher boost demands - which the JB4 would count for - you want a tighter gap.

Shouldn't hurt anything. If you start feeling what you think is a misfire or something re-check your gaps or go back to stock gap.

I actually have an M240, runs like a beast omg lol but the plugs shouldn't harm your engine. gap them all to .022 and give map 5 a run with some E40 blend and you let me know if you have any neck pains after that from the torque lol

You don’t think running more E with stock pumps would damage anything?

as long as your tune supports it. weather you flash with an E40+ map or on JB4 yup it can handle it. so far all my logs have been clean, im hitting around 22-23 lbs of boost at wot it's killer

If your on stock tune putting some e85 with 93-94 won’t benefit anything it will with 91 though in hotter weather benefit in timing. If you have a flash or jb4 e85 is safe up to e40 and beneficial
