What did you learn or discover about your G20 3 Series recently?

Not horrible, about a 3/4in and 1/2in scrape in the same small area on the driver's side front rim. No gouging fortunately because i stopped immediately and was doing about 1MPH, but the paint is clearly scrapped off. Same thing on my Audi. I think a lot of cars can move w/o actually releasing the e-brake but it does have a bit of resistance when you don't release it via the button.

I don't know if it would have made a difference since i was driving through the ticket booth at the time. However i don't have that package so I don't really know. I'm just glad it was minor and an easy fix.

Apparently the the USB-C ports in the back are fast chargers for iPhone. My XR went from 26% to 70% battery in about 30 minutes.

Have just realised that if you have not closed a door properly, when the car is started, the ambient lighting in the arm rest flashes red regardless of what colour has been set. Cool!

As a first time BMW owner I learn something new everyday, actually I learn a lot everyday. mostly today was that my 2019 330i is noticeably faster than my 2006 Chevy Colorado was! Happy to be part of the BMW family!

I learnt yesterday that the clock can be auto updated to show Casablanca time rather than PST.

I discovered that every evening after work when I get in the car and start it up. The display suggest my home address as the destination. A little too much big brother right there.
Also if I back into a my parking spot too fast at the indoor garage. The automatic breaking kicks in and stops the car. The first time it happened frighten the crap out of me. I thought I had hit something. Lol

Figured you can plug in ODB adapter and start coding without putting the car in diagnostic mode. I plugged my adapter today and launched Bimmercode on my phone; the car immediately went into diagnostic mode

On the BMW App it will tell you exactly where the car is. I didn't know it did this so if the wife were to randomly log on she could track me and see my car in the crazy horse parking lot.

Discovered BMW will not replace the wastegate alone and replaces the whole Turbo assembly in case of a wastegate failure

You can switch it off if you feel the need to on special occasions

I discovered that the stock Bridgestone RFTs aren't the best for track days… really need to get some PS4S in the spring.

Also, stock/base brake setup on the 330i gets a little mushy towards the end of a lap of the Nürburgring. The M-Performance setup would be a welcomed upgrade.

I learned that even if you call asking if the 1200 mile oil change is provided after break-in and two different people from service say it's provided; Upon arriving at the dealership I was turned away as the m340i isn't a performance vehicle… and oil change isn't due until 10,000 miles…

I've been trying to figure out when do the inner set of headlights come on. Traditionally these have been the high beams/flashers on BMWs. I've seen other M340is with them on along with the outer set on low beam, as well. Mine are not on in low beam, high beam, high beam adaptive, nor flashing. The manual waxes on about adaptive headlights but there is no language on the inner set of headlights and when they are on. I've tried around the city and highway at night. I've the adaptive LED and not laser.
