2021 330i brakes grabbing at low speeds
First time BMW owner here and hoping for some feedback on the brakes for a 2021 330i xdrive. I just purchased this car and I am really impressed with how it drives, except braking at low speeds. The brakes grab a lot when slowing down from about 20 mph to stop and it's near impossible to stop smoothly. I actually had the car inspected by a reputable independent euro shop here, because I thought something must be wrong with the rotors. I now see a few other posts regarding this issue, but I'm hoping someone either found a solution or can tell me that they got used to it. Any recommendations are much appreciated!

I have a 2023 330i. I find the brakes very grabby as well. Exactly like you stated it’s hard to stop smoothly. I often come to an abrupt stop after slowing down at slow speeds.
I’m hoping this is just new car brakes that need to be “worn in” and that it will go away. |

Here my 2 cents:
I think this is due to the fact there are 2 pistons instead of 4 like the performance ones + size of the rotor. Usually bigger rotor brings more modulation. |

Same with my M340i pretty hard to stop “smoothly”
In comfort it will kill the engine and kind of coast, but if you try to modulate the brake the engine will come alive again. I’m still getting used to it |

Glad I'm not the only one noticing this. I usually drive in sport individual mode with auto start/stop turned off and that makes it a littler easier to stop smoothly. I'm pretty sure it's the brake regen that's causing it... not much you can do, just have to get used to it I guess.
