G20/21 M340i Deals

Hi folks,

Have been on the F3x forum for a while, my F31 335d is at is VT point (earlier than I thought) and now is time to consider options.

I'm looking at either a G2x M340i or a G02 M40i/d

Anybody recently bit the bullet and got a cracking deal?

That is similar to me but pre lockdown so not sure how things going. Just got a crap trade in value for another car (not BMW) though.

I got them to price match the deal sites like Coast2coast and Autoebid etc and they did.

I got a Portimao Blue with Tech Pack and Sun Protection glass for £40,280. Its already built and currently at port, just waiting for delivery in Sept.

I opted for a four year PCP deal to get the discount but probably end up paying that off with a cheaper loan in the next few months

Check out carwow and take your best quote in for them to match if you’re happy
Part exchange chat to motorway.co.uk as they can get you much more than chopping it into dealer

I got a better deal on WhatCar than Carwow (shame as I enjoy Matts videos!)

Have sent several spec's through Carwow. Not getting anywhere with them!!

Somebody mentioned that they now only use 1 dealer and they are not quoting atm.

Anyway, things have moved on and I am now having my head turned to an X4 M40d. Not everybody crop of tea I know but with strong RV's they make a keenly priced car.

Yeah that was me in another thread.

Also worth having a look on Broadspeed - shows by model what the average market discounts are, so will give your a ballpark to start your negotiations with a dealer.

Tony Lewis is also well known for giving cracking discounts on M-lite cars, so well worth an email to him to see if he can help. Super nice fella too.

I ordered my G21 on 2nd December and used carwow quotes as a baseline. I got around 17% in the end from my local dealer. If I’d shopped around, not wanted a specific factory spec or been willing to travel I might have been able to do better, but I thought it was a fair deal for the convenience.

My wife ordered a 118i from the same dealer in Jan and both cars came in June. She had a couple of minor issues with the SatNav not registering and they would come pick it up in the morning until it was sorted.

I guess worth considering how much you rate / value your local dealer!

I got 20% discount on a UK stock car. Factory order was coming in at 16-18%. https://broadspeed.com/ is saying things are roughly the same, £9k off.

Hi all,

Well I've moved in a different direction and gone with a stock X4 M40d with a fab spec.

This car has the strongest RV in the current line up and meant it came a fair bit cheaper than the M340i like for like. Having had 3 Touring's, felt it was time for a change.
