Pre-Heat Petit Complete!

First time running on a wet track and boy did I learn lots. Had a few moments but stayed on track so I'd call it a win. Got a few dry sessions in the afternoon and the difference is crazy. Road Atlanta is a high elevation change track and in the wet it shows. Take away of the day was this car needs stability. The body roll is killer under braking.

Fastest dry lap of the day was a 2:03. Nothing special but after running in the wet all day it was nice to regain some confidence. I cut in a moment earlier in the wet at the end where I lost the rear a bit and boy... my car payment flashed before my eyes.

Gotta run the wet line.

The little slide at the end, and yes they can induce major pucker factor, was saved by the wet line.

Reviving this thread.....anyone else doing real tracking with a base 330i? I sold my dedicated time trials car to run wheel to wheel this year, playing with the idea of TT my 330i RWD. curious if others have run these cars at pace / what their issues are on track.

People across the pond in Germany have been putting them on track and from what I've heard body roll is a problem. Also a few are saying to replace the oil filter cooler early if you run hot. Apparently the seals degrade and can open flow from oil to coolant.

Lmk if you see anything. Planning to start back up tracking this spring, but I'm still a baby for the most part.
