You can use your Android. That's what I have been using. Just download the app.

My car has the 03/2023.50 version (when Bimmercode became unable to code ASS memory, rip) and I changed all of these (my unknowns were different, but the first 71 and 14 matching one I selected), but at most was able to separate the signals on the outer lights. The inner lights' light bar and reverse was working, but I wasn't getting the signals. Then after an hour of messing around to understand why it might be, I decided to search "country" under the BDC Expert Mode, and found the "VCM_COUNTRY" variable, which was set to us or usa (I don't recall exact). I changed that to "ece" and... it worked! I have no idea what it changes, but nothing else about the car seemingly changed like units. Not sure why initially it excluded the signals on the inner (trunk mounted) lights, when everything else was working. But after changing that seems that everything works. Haven't tried out the brake force thing though it is (partially?) coded. Next step is to source some EUDM tails! |

Hey I've tried to do this via BimmerCode, but couldn't find the options as mentioned. DO you have any instructions to guide on how to do the EURO tails via BimmerCode? Thanks. |

Hey Calvin, I have done all the coding as mentioned, but to check whether it works or not. I did put the car on D and the left beam did not move in or out. Tried to put it in R, and the beam did not move. Is there something I'm missing? Also, you stated S5AP must be enabled, how can I enable this using BimmerCode? Thanks for your input. |

You will not notice a change in start up animation or in different gears like the older G20s with Variable Light Distribution. You can test anti dazzle at speeds above 20 MPH when auto headlights and auto high beams are on. If you want to lower the speed to enable anti dazzle I can share that code with you. |

Hey Calvin, Let me take it for a spin at night and check if it is working. However, my car already has the auto high beam Is the anti dazzle different from auto high beams? is HBA same as anti dazle? When you mention change in startup animation? how does it differ after the code? Any video illustration of this? Also, could you please share the code for lower speed anti dazzle? That would highly appreciated. Thanks. Last edited by phani_ch; 04-25-2024 at 06:03 PM.. |
