Wow, good luck with that in Europe. Im sure will do well in China where bigger grille the better.
not gonna lie, its just reminds that electric 3 series they planned and showed earlier. Thats ok. But way better also than the X5/6/7 series.

I admit is less worse than I was expecting. But for now....I really don't like it.
Let's see it into reality but is growing on me the idea of buying something different from BMW for the replacement of my M140i....... The M3 is in pole position.....but a front grille like this one......no thanks. |

Seriously WTF... Audi grilles, cruise control operation on steering wheel, no manual 3 litre diesel... I wish there would a car brand which wouldn't give a shit about US market.

Does that grill let air through or solid plastic? So. Much. Plastic.
For me it's not the size so much as the cheap plastic look of it. Just a really random update. Last edited by floridaorange; 02-06-2020 at 10:16 AM.. |

Meh. Now they really really really look like a pigs nose. Change the name from kidney grilles to pig grilles.

My biggest takeaway is they found a way to hide the ACC sensor within the design instead of having an awkward cutout as some of the renders showed.
The cutout was probably a function of preproduction needs and camo |

For me, the biggest reason to keep buying BMWs was RWD, i6, manual, and they actually looked good. Now, I can't see them really offering anything distinct over Audi who arguably has better looking cars with more consistent design language at this point.

I have to agree with you at least Audi grills seem to not look so out of place, this is just a total mess.
