Straight line, yes, turns, not so much

Correct, this is my daily and I specifically ordered it that way

On a straight line, even in rain, it wont break lose at all.

I will start spinning coming out of corners, especially when wet which after experiencing couple of times and getting used to the car, it is pretty fun.

My F10 (which was also xDrive) will not spin out, no matter what you do on all season tires. G20 got some getting used to but I am not complaining at all.

I know I can get all of that fixed with different wheel and tire combo but like OP my car is leased and I am kind of done with bent rims and expensive tires on leased cars. Roads in Seattle suck especially after it rains 80+ days and there are tons of pot holes filled with water that you just cant see at night.

PS: My dailies will always be xDrives living in this climate, no other way around it.

I wish I had got xdrive, if I bump the throttle mine spins. It does have the 255 in rear with bridgestone RF which is a big issue in cold temps. I do wish it came with 9 or 9.5inch wheels so I could go a lot wider.

Where are you located? I assume if you have the staggered setup with 255s in the rear you are on summer, performance tires. Especially since you say it’s a big issue in cold temperatures. Do you realize you should not drive on performance, summer tires in temps below about 45 degrees? Their rubber compound is not designed for that and not only is it dangerous it can actually physically damage the tires.

I'm rwd and it will get a little "squirrely" but usually not without me really getting on the throttle. It is manageable and never has me secretly wishing for x-drive but I'm ditching the Bridgestone run-flats when they are done for some Continental DSW 06. They are a lot more predictable and I've had pretty good luck with them in the past.

255 are fine with rwd. Sport plus doesn’t pull back power. I have the f30 but same 369 lb ft with mppsk as m340i. The run flats actually grip pretty good in so cal even in winter and rain.
