I called a local Indy shop. Part is $2660 plus 3.5 hour labor (estimate) is $3400 out the door. Still $1400 better than the stealerships.

Sheesh, glad I ordered it at the port. On the bright side at least you have a car, mine is still broken at the dealership with 4 miles until at least the 18th

Yeah I'll have to think if $3400 is worth it for exhaust sound. Hopefully you get your car back soon bro. I am lucky so far with no issues *knock on wood*

Mine is in final assembly and was able to add the port installed MPE today through my salesman for $2755. I've been back and forth on it all week and just decided to do it today. So anyone already in production - you can still add it if it hasn't made it to the port yet. Good to know!

Glovis sun? I’m in NY as well but 2 weeks does not sound right. Who told you it needs another 2 weeks? Maybe a few days.

For what it’s worth, mine has been at the port for almost 2 months. It could be because of the ground cable/wire bolt issue. Hoping to get mine soon.

I picked mine up a few weeks ago. Liking it a lot so far, though it’s been an adjustment from my smaller M235 for sure.
One thing I haven’t seen mentioned anywhere: I ordered the sensatec dashboard option along with the black vernasca seats with blue contrast stitching. The sensatec has white contrast stitching which is totally at odds with the rest of the car having blue stitching. This is not mentioned anywhere or shown in the picture of the sensatec dash. All that’s listed is “durable Sensatec accented with fine double-cut seams”. It’s not a great look and I wouldn’t have ordered it had I been aware. |

For Genius tracking use automated system.
My car has been sitting in FINAL assembly for 5 days last checked a few minutes on My Garage on iPhones and PC both showed still in FINAL assembly. Then called Genius and used the automated system and it said Awaiting Carrier. So maybe use the automated system first.

Yup, the Sun. I'm going by past experience... I had a MY 2024 I custom ordered but didn't buy because there were defects all over the paint. Took way longer than I expected from arriving at the port to the dealer. Hoping this time is better.

Looking at all the post here and other sites I through out the high and low transit time from Mexico to Baltimore and I see about 12 days. Of course they are so many variables each Transit can be different.

Glovis Sun as well here but my Sales guys stated it was suppose to load on the 7th and arrive in port the 13th but it loaded on the 1st and arrived the 5th. He says internal software still says landing the 13th, ugh so frustrating.

The rep from the dealership called and said my car should be on the ship by the 14th and be delivered by the end of month. I will say that other people in the forum that had the same build week seem to have started thier build a little later than mine. I did schedule my build almost as soon as thr dealership got the allocation. Here is what I’ve tracked so far:
Week 44 build (planned to start 28 Oct - 03 Nov) 06 September - Order Placed 27 August - Scheduled for Production on 22 Oct 23 October - Production begins 23 October - Exterior Body Assembly Begins 23 October - In the Paint Booth 23 October - Entering Assembly Line 23 October - Assembly In Progress 23 October - Quality Check 26 October - Final Assembly 01 November - Ready For Transport TBD - Awaiting Carrier Assignment TBD - Dispatched From Factory TBD - At The Port TBD - In Transit 22-29 Nov - Expected Delivery Last edited by nofluxgiven; 11-11-2024 at 11:12 AM.. |
