Cold start issues

Recently i've noticed that when I cold start my car, it takes an extra half a second to a second to start up. It's as if it's struggling a tiny bit to start up. This only happens when I cold start the car. Throughout the day after the car has been driven a bit, it starts up instantly and it seems perfectly fine. Has anyone else had this issue?

I notice this sometimes. Car has 30k.

It seems be inconsistent.

I think if it gets worse I'll get it checked out.

is your battery fully charged? I work about 3 miles from home and started having issues until I charged my battery...probably wasn't driving far enough to keep it charged

how do you check the battery charge on the car? and how did you charge it? i think i have that issue because i don't drive it very often and if i do, it's only for a couple of miles

I ordered a CTEK MXS 5.0 battery charger after watching videos and reading reviews on this forum. It takes several hours to fully charge...never took it to get it checked but it was definitely low. I had went away for 5 days and when I tried starting car it barely turned over... the charger was awesome... now I make sure I fully charge it like maybe every 4-5 months. Good luck

I made a post a couple weeks ago about a similar issue. My car struggled with cold starts and was fine after it warmed up too. The starter ended up failing a couple months later so just watch out for that!

how much was it to repair the starter at the dealership?

I have this same issue too for my 2020 and I thought I am the only one

Planning to bring to the dealership for a check up. Would that cost anything?

Same thing is happening to me, no idea whats going on its just like 1-2 seconds extra and it sounds like its struggling to turn over , im not really sure what it is , ive updated my software, ive changed the battery, what could i tell my service advisor next? I have a thread already posted about videos of the sound as well
