2021 G20 starter button removal

Just bought a red starter button for my G20. They sent some fishing line as a removal tool with no instructions. Does anyone know how to do this or have another method that doesn't require console removal? Thanks

Can you share where you ordered it from?

Thanks. I actually reached out to Martin from Car Analysis, who sells a crystal button kit and he is sending me the butyl rubber putty he uses with his kits. I highly recommend Martin's company. I bought my button from a terrible vendor with zero customer support. I reached out to Martin and he was nice enough to help me with someone else's product. Check out his website, he's got some great products and he fully stands behind them.
