The BMW 0 series would be great from a marketing perspective

So the 4 series is about same size as the previous 6 series and I'm assuming the next 2 series will be close to the old 4.

I don't get the fascination of car getting bigger.
If you want a bigger car get a 5/6/8 series why do they have to grow the 3/4 series?

Also I wonder if those rear vents are functional?
3/4s cost what a 3/4 have always cost accounting for inflation where a 5/8 cost much more than a 3. In the casual car buyers / leasing world it's always about more space for legs and comfort and an extra inch of leg room is a good motivator to 'upgrade' to a new model or buy this brand over that brand.

Also the grill is absurd and I'm very tired of the cliche angry lines of the headlights that all brands are doing.

BMW is simply not a design leader anymore. This looks like a weird alien face more than a car.

Gotta be honest... it's grown on me. I'm a BMW loyalist though. 3 series is better more than ever with G chassis in my opinion, but the 4 is no where near as bad as everyone is saying.

It's like a mutated Umbrella Corporation wannabe 8 series.

I don't mind the grill as much as I mind the weak shoulder line and lack of the legendary h-kink. The huge rear emblem also bothers me, it makes the car look cheap.

It's a decent looking coupe but does NOT look like a BMW, looks sort of like a luxurious Asian alternative. I understand moving forward with design, but not at the cost of losing what makes BMW, BMW. BMW has always had an angry masculine design. The new 235i and this dilute the brand design. Death of a classic.

Yup, I agree

Grill aside, the rest of the car looks weak.
