iPhone Overheats w/ Carplay?

Despite ensuring my iPhone 12 does not have many apps running in background, my phone overheats while using Carplay when outside temperatures are approximately over 70 in my 2021 330i xDrive.

Anyone with same issues? Any thoughts for solution?

Yes pretty common, especially if you use navigation. The wireless charger is more of a heating pad than anything else, I go wired.
