3977lbs for M440i xdrive!!!!!! oink oink. What a pig. A 4 series should NOT be pushing 4000lbs regardless of trim/drivetrain.

Game over for BMW. I remember the golden years of BMW releases, it brought excitement and the desire to strive to own one of them. That unfortunately is no longer the case.

We always want a manual, it is the last analogue thing we have...

This car is only 2" longer than your F80. Still shorter than M5's that had a maual. I do agree that size diminishes feel, but we have to drive it first and see how the dynamics work.
Fair enough.

I was pretty certain the F80 I had was similar in size to my E39 M5. So it surprises me to read that this would still be smaller than that car.

Either way, a 5 inch increase in length for this Coupé over its predecessor is a bit surprising.

Overall, it's not bad. I warmed up to the X7, so maybe I was prepared for this grille.

Not a fan of it growing as much as it did. I already thought the F32 was a little too long. I guess it's to offset all of the other things that grew on the car.

I thought the US was getting a RWD version of the M440i. Did that get scrapped?

Looks horrible. The non M-sport version looks like a joke.

I wonder how the front would look like with the North American style license plates. Probably worse.

The mild hybrid doesn't operate at peak power, so that it why the peak numbers are the same.

The grill isn't the worst part. This is a big, heavy boat. 6MT wouldn't save it, RWD wouldn't save it, good steering wouldn't save it, and analog gauges wouldn't save it. Hey, they got the seatbelt butler figured out.

For those holding out for the M4, it's going to be ~3800lbs+ and probably be as isolated as an M5.

They don't make cars for me anymore.

Note ynguldyn's update from April, which he added after those SOP dates at the top I believe: "It's not clear what's going on with M440i RWD. It does exist in the form of actual physical test cars, but it's not going into mass production in July with the other G22 versions. Let's hope it's just a delay."

The white one rear end is almost an exact copy of the current Lexus IS.
