tomorrow will be 21 days at port for me. And yes, this is the absolute worst part. There is a boat leaving tomorrow to baltimore, if I don't get on that boat, then it'll be another 9 days before the next boat.

Welp finally went to Production begins last Monday and now it's showing In The Paint Booth.

Should be done by end of the week, hopefully.

Still showing PAP and Decoding for no-dazzle hgh bm so I guess I'm getting the full adaptive head lights (ordered Laser). Only delete I see is "Passenger Lumbar Delete"

Maybe my car will be in the same boat... probably not i'm in the west coast.

My M50 was at Zeebrugge for 4 weeks before being shipped out. Now it's been waiting for a week (and counting) at the US port.

Oh gosh, I hope I'm on that boat, I'm at port 22 days today (dealer told me yesterday) I hope it shows up tomorrow as in transit. They say it takes about two days to show up in transit. But as someone said, at least we have the cars.

Does the Genius phone # have more up to date information? My Garage still says I am scheduled for production. Still says 2022 with all my options ( except tailgate). I was originally Week 21 then moved to 23-- which is this week. It's Thursday. Should I call the Genius line? I don't want to keep pestering my sales guy (and he's on vacay this week).

It was showing as deleted prior to status 115 production begins but a few days before the removal of the hands-free tailgate was removed.

I was scheduled for week 22, but status sat at scheduled for production for several days, then it went to production begins for over a week, then it jumped to in the paint booth. That was yesterday, today it's awaiting carrier assignment. I suspect next time status gets updated is when it's waiting at the port.

I was told by my CA today that they are building only a few M50 versions. He said my car will be a MY2023. The only question is if BMW is going to honor the MY2022 build configs?

So for people waiting for an M50, 90% or better it's going to be a MY2023.

I've been told also that my car will be a MY2023. Still don't have a production number. Since DAPP is back on, it doesn't make much difference to me personally. Cost will go up $1,250, but on the other hand, eventual trade-in value will be higher too because it'd be one model year newer.

Quite frankly, I'm shocked the price is going up less than 2%.

My only issue is that cognac is not in the MY2023 build config. If they don't honor configurations then I'll switch to individual full leather. My CA has my back on this one. So one way or another I'll get an interior I want.

Oyster is a no go and so are black and mocha.
Definitely no red in my blue car... Superman? Nope.
