Congrats on your new bimmer. That's a nice looking mustang GT too. Hopefully you're holding on to it.

I love the SO on the G20. I used to have a 135 in Sedona Red, which was actually very orange and looked similar to this. I like it, I would get one but its not for everyone.

I am super biased after just recently taking delivery of a 2020 M340xi with full M Performance CF & Gloss Black Kit along with anything else I could check off during purchase.

I looked at tons of cars and colors and I am extremely selective but more of a guy who likes to push the envelope and set trends rather than follow the herd.

I went for Sunset Orange Metallic and when I told my employees I ordered an orange car they were all laughing at me. When the car showed up everyone was saying how great it was.

If you like it get it! If you care what other people think then maybe don't get it.

Thanks!

The Mustang was super cool. Unfortunately I have traded it in now.
However I did today buy another orange car

Pics will follow

For what it's worth, I happily pulled the trigger and, after a long wait, took delivery last week.

Having my G20 in Sunset Orange for 6 months, still not tired of it. Seems it will age well as its rather uncommon color not offered on many models and not chosen as often on G20 series as well. On the other hand I tend to meet Montego/Portimao Blue BMWs almost daily.

I too went for Sunset Orange - ordered before the new model was in the showrooms so only went by press release photos.

When the car was delivered, I knew I had made the right decision, I too went with the Oyster interior.

Here is my 'Sport' model....

Ummm hate to break it to you ... there's nothing carbon fiber in your pic ... if you ordered it you got screwed , there's no "m performance cf" on your car. Gloss blk yes cf no ...

thank goodness you didn't check off that foil "m performance" decal if the dealership left that off like the splitters consider it a godsend though if you paid for it I'd return it... could we see the rear ? They might have screwed you on the diffuser as well 😏😅

I love my SO 330i, it's such a different colour depending on the light/weather and as said before a rare sight on UK roads

I don't like attention so it isn't the color for me, but I can understand people liking SO. However, I can't understand mating it with anything but black interior... Just as I wouldn't match brown shoes and belt with an orange suit. Also, I think this color demands the gray trim pieces be blacked out, adding to the expense.

Just my opinion.

It looks as if I'm in a minority, but I think the blue car looks better.

That car was great and I will miss it, but it was starting to look and feel dated for sure. The G20 has really grown on me and the Tech uplift is remarkable.

Whatís wrong with the black interior with sunset orange? It sure looks a lot better than the oyster.

This. I have to say that the front grill choice makes or breaks the sunset orange. With a black grill it looks spectacular. The cerium Gray grill just kills the color and makes it look like an old persons car. The bi color 19 inch wheels are perfect. Black wheels a bit too much. Also, I agree you have to go with the black interior. Itís the best combo.

I agree. With sunset orange, the rest of the car has to be blacked out for it to look menacing. Else, the chrome/cerium gray just kills it.

Sans the black wheels. Looks too much like Halloween on steroids. An oem black lip rear spoiler to match the black front grill would look sick.

So it was Dick Lovett in Hungerford. I've got a few photos of it somewhere but they were taken a while back. I've got a G20 330e M Sport Plus myself in Sunset Orange with Mocca interior. Have had it 5 months now and I still love it. There aren't many around and when clean I think it looks amazing.
