Full MSD's will/should lower MF to 0.00093 and was the case in my deal.

As it is it's not a bad deal.

In regards to the inflated MF, have you involved other dealers in the area? At the end of the day, dealers tend to use discount and MF interchangeably... reduce one, raise the other. So an inflated MF in and of itself is not bad IF you get a great discount.

That being said, it seems pretty standard for people to get 10% off pre-incentive as well as base MF, so I would shop around with other dealers to either give you base MF or increase the discount (or both ideally).

I was thinking the same thing. I feel that's kind of absurd to not agree with. I have been shopping around now but not finding any good dealers to do it.

Overall monthly isn't bad like somebody else said. But out of my 3 local dealers, only 1 gave me a quote w inflated MF and eventually changed it. These cars aren't moving super fast in MN though. People have the SUV bug bad up here.

I think you can do a little better, my MSRP and monthly payments are about the same as you and I didn't put down any MSD and only DMV fee for drive off.

Not sure how they're getting 9,817.18 as your drive off. Total Cash outlay should be 7200 (4200 deposit plus 3000 cap reduction).

Edit: unless cap reduction is the rebate and it's just on there twice.

Yeah man. I contacted the manager about a breakdown (and changed the miles to 10k) and this is the deal

Guess I'm supposed to come up with 9,444.59! Will for sure not be going with this.

Yeah bro seriously lmao and this was the fleet manager, and I had started the conversation with I'm giving this a shot before going with a broker so I don't get bent over, and lastly this was during the period that they are supposedly being aggressive about pushing units! (end December)

Ask for base MF of 0.00128. Put down full MSD's instead of $3k as this is refundable and will lower MF even further to 0.00093

Not a terrible deal to begin w but there's more room to get a better price. Especially on a loaner

Run your same #'s on leasehackrs lease calculator and that should lower substantially with money towards MSD's and MF lowering. You will get all of that $ back assuming you don't miss any payments or damage vehicle and it lowers interest rate as well.

It depends on your region but I've seen deals as low as $460/month. Mine is around $510 + tax for a very similar priced MSRP but I ordered mine new. I've also seen terrible deals in the $800's so it all depends on doing your research and finding a willing dealer to negotiate. Great deals can def be had on this vehicle

I asked for 20% off MSRP before incentives. The general manager claimed their quoted price was selling below cost so they wouldn't budge on price. For January they said .00138 is base money factor.

On lease hackr, the score comes out to 9 years and $553 per month. I did not take the deal.

$553 isn't bad by any means but base MF is 0.00128 so he's lying to you on that

As per edmunds, base MF is 0.00138 for Jan 2020. So I don’t think the SE was lying to him.

Sometimes they raise the MF to get you the better deal from what I've heard. Can't discount as steep with also giving you base MF. 553 is a good deal. Pushing more is def possible but will require more inquiries to dealers. Time is money.
