Hmm the burbles were louder before I had un plugged and replugged the valve on the exhaust I wonder if that messed it up.

Lol so that’s atleast three of us with G20s with no grey clips (I also know of others who have lost it on their M135is and stuff)? But yes. Thank god that it stays tight and the grey clips aren’t a necessity

Also, I didn’t notice any reduction in burbles. Like JSaid, I think mine increased. And it’s even more now with the JB4. Probably a placebo effect but on map 0 (stock map), it feels like the burbles reduce. Just my mind messing with me I guess.

I did the SAME thing as you guys, popped the clip off and was terrified it fell into the engine belt or something. I was actually able to fish it out from under the steering column, thankfully.

Hey all- happy Easter/Passover to all the forum. Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. I ended up leasing a 2020 330i xdrive with only 3k miles on it. I added a JB+ that I bought from a forum member. It’s installed and everything. Being that I don’t know how the engine learned over the first 3000 miles. Is there a way to reset engine with jb+ on it to be catered to my driving style. On my m235i this was a pedal sequence with the car on but not engine running. Is this even necessary?

I don’t think that is needed.

I know that didn’t work in my B9 A4 but it apparently used to in the B8 and earlier iterations. I’m assuming the ECU keeps learning and hence, you don’t need to do a reset. I could be very wrong though.

It’s essentially the same. Pop hood, take the keys and put them far away so that ECU is off, take off engine cover, boost plug is at the front where they show in the video. Unclip it like in the video and connect it. Replace engine cover, close hood, done.

Just installed my jb+ on my 2019 330i Xdrive and I can absolutely say it's a noticable difference in power. But what I can't believe is how much smoother the car feels in sport and comfort mode. It used to feel a little jerky at certain speeds but now theres a big improvement especially in sport mode. Very happy so far with the jb+ for the money. I'm now even more excited to code sport+ into the car and see how that feels.

It's adjustable to about 88%, it's just a dial. You can turn it to any point on the dial that you want.

Did you code sport+ in? I don’t remember pops and burbles decreasing because of my JB+. I have a JB4 now and it pops and burbles a lot in sport+ mode. In normal sport mode, not much. But it’s definitely there.
