Just as any other automotive concept in 2019, ignored until the real deal comes out.

This thing has the potential to become the best M vehicle in the last 15 years.
That thing with a blacked out grill will look straight bad ass. I laugh when I hear you guys complain about BMW and bring up Audi who did the same thing many years ago. Just from seing this picture the F80/82/87 look so dated. I was considering maybe a F90 or new RS6/RS7 because I was 100% sure to get a V8. But this thing has limitless potential as a M4. I‘m so looking forward to this thread in 2,5 years when Indeed 50% of you guys will so be in love with their new M4s. Looks like this is the reason why there are professionals which see things you don‘t. I‘m really curious who really won‘t buy the next M4. You will be all fanboys. I was so out for the next M4, now I‘m worrying because this will be the best and meanest looking M for so many years and will completely crush the F80/82/87. |

I saw one picture with quite a few people in it and no one, and I mean literally no one, was smiling. I take that to mean that with of all the people who were there to see this live, not one person found joy or happiness in it. They all looked stunned.

Wow, just wow...and not in a good way. The front is awful.
I'd bet MB and Audi salespeople are celebrating today.

The front-end design seems to be very unpopular, in fact, it might be the worst reveal in terms of reaction in recent memory. The majority seem to hate the design. It just looks out of proportion to the rest of the car. I wouldn't mind it so much on a M8 or other, but on an M3 that will forever be grouped with M3's of the past, it seems like overstated design, not really seen on an M3 before.

I love BMW, but I have to go with my initial gut reaction, and I honestly thought it was a hoax. The rest of the car is so great looking, but that shnoz is a deal breaker. I thought the new 3’s front end was overdone. It looks restrained by comparison.
That design, for the one year they produce it, prior to a very rushed “update” on the front fascia, makes the F32 an instant classic IMO. May need to break tradition and keep mine when the lease runs out, or hunt down an M4. Still love ya BMW. Get back to me when you’ve grown out of this new phase. |
