get it and you wont regret it, its a reasonable size bag, not very big, but it fits my 5d mkii with 70-200 f 2.8 Is L mounted on it in the top pocket, and its a fantastic bag for ~85 dollars

I don't know about the sling shot. In my opinion, it looks kind of odd. Something a gay kid would wear in high school or something. (nothing against gays) What do you guys think?

i had the slingshot 200 and i like it alot. carried my D90, 5 lenses, charger, hoods for the lens, filters. liked it cuz it had side access, very convenient for me. but i upgraded to the fastpack 250 cuz i got another lens and flash and wanted something to carry my laptop and camera in one....love this one! it also has the side access. go to lowpro's site, there's a bunch of bags to choose from...

get a bag that doesn't look like a camera box.

www.crumplerbags.com

but don't get those stupid "home" shoulder bags. try the keystone - more than big enough for the D90 and a few lenses.
i have the whickey & cox bag myself - houses my D3, 24-70, 85, 50, 30 and a bunch of goodies. really comfortable - have hiked all of Manhattan, Rome and a bunch of towns in Italy with no discomfort. and no rain leaks, even in down-pours.
and no one can unzip you from behind. not without taking your bag off. but it's easy to remove your camera from the customizable insides, so i can just unzip the top portion and grab the grip and pull it out. and weather proof, too.

that is a good site. Bags looks nice.

I have bought one of those photo inserts from B&H for $20 and it will fit most of standard messenger bags!

I have like 2 inserts and 4 or 5 different style messenger bags that I can switch around for style or for difference places I go to.

These are for casual photoshoot and I bring these constantly with no prob at all, perfect size.

70-200
50 f1.4
580 EXII
2 or 3 filters
a few spare batteries
cleaning kits
misc what nots.

Ive got a lightly used slingshot 200 if you're looking to buy one... doesn't fit my 70-200mm.

i know what you mean about the "style" but it serves a purpose. Its great to be able to get to the camera without even taking the bag off your shoulder.

get one of these

It is actually bigger than what the photo shows and also you can divide the 2 outer pockets in half (for your flash light and filters for example)

Let me take a pic of mine next time and show you how it looks.

This is the best "carry-around" insert IMO and fits most of the messenger bags.

Nice. I really want the 18-200 and the 10-24. Those with a 35 fixed are all I would need.

BTW, I use a Tamrac Velocity bag:

I like the low pro... sling bag. Easy to carry and easy to put in and take out the camera. Also very easy for me to carry when I ride my motorcycle.
