330i Turbo Lag

Just wondering...what is the general opinion of turbo lag on the 2019 330i Xdrive? I have had one for about a month and feel that it is very noticeable...even in sport mode. I've had a 2002 330xi (which, I know, was not a turbo) and a 2016 328i Xdrive, and feel that the 2019 is pretty significant.

Thanks for the input...

Was that a loaner car?

Strange, that's one thing I've never experienced unless I am Eco mode. Power delivery is pretty instantaneous and the transmission never seems to be confused when I push the pedal down. Are you using 93 octane?

Loaner cars are usually abused and they put cheapest 87 octane gas.

In FL and likely in the SE you can get 87 pretty much at every corner gas station.

We have a different measuring system. 95 in Europe is equal to about 89 in the USA.

There is a small amount of turbo lag depending on what gear your in, definitely but its manageable. Once you learn what gear to be in for what you want to do it isn't that bad.

No turbo lag that I can notice. My 2016 Lexus IS on the other, that is a whole different story, turbo lag is extreme.

Not a loaner. I had it built. Always use premium...I think it’s 92 or 93 here in Colorado.
