Yes the Driver assistant professional has emergency braking. Sometimes it stops my car pulling out of a tight garage space. It definitely works.

The traffic jam assistance is surprisingly good in slow LA freeway traffic.

+1 on this. Just got my car 2 days ago and this is a game changer. Wish it activated up to 60mph.

I am about to order a M340i xDrive, but I am hesitating given the choice between Active Guard and DAP. I wish we could get the full performance of the Active Guard (from the base trim) in front collision scenarios involving pedestrians with the DAP.

I'll probably wait until the 2021 come out to see if there are any updates to the DAP.

I would like to find a way to push BMW for an explanation of why we have to choose between the advanced features of DAP and Active Guard (in the base trim).
