M330i bumper for base model?

Was wondering if anyone knows if the 330i M sport bumper could fit and replace the front bumper on the base 330i?

Haven't really found much info on this as it seems everyone has the 330i M sport package already lol (if only I had a bit more money ).

Cheers!

It should. I don’t think BMW will redo the entire front end just to fit a different bumper.

I guess one of the main reasons I ask is because on the m sport bumper, there are the extra lights which aren't on the base models.

The bad has the fog lights as an option. Don't know if the cable is always prepared.

Well yes. You’ll need the wiring, switch (on the headlight switch console) and coding (?) for the fog lamp to work. I was talking about the clips and stuff which should be the same, making it possible to install the M sport bumper in place of the ordinary bumper.

I was able to find this:
https://parts.bmwmonterey.com/a/BMW_...r/51_A302.html

but not sure that's everything you needed to replace a base model bumper though & how hard it is to replace it.

OP, were you able to go through with this conversion? I'm asking because I am thinking of doing the same. Thanks!

bumper mounts are different between the M and non-M

Other small components will need to be changed as well.
Including, but not limited to

lower re-bar
rebar shock absorber
all bumper trim pieces

Because the bumper mounts are different, would that mean that this conversion would not be possible to do?

The conversion is possible.
It's just there are additional pieces that will need to be changed out besides the main bumper panel/trim pieces.

Some of the internal mounts and structure pieces are different between the M and non-M bumper.
