Many dealerships don't care. When I picked up my M340 from BMW Woodlands they had "detailed" it, resulting in a few swirl marks, spilled shampoo in the interior ( which dried and I had to return later to have them remove it after noticing the following day) and a door ding, which I'm not sure was a result of the "detail" or something else they did. Bottom line- many dealerships are sloppy and reckless. You may spend 60k+ on a car and they will still treat it as if it's a used 1993 Honda Civic because they don't care. Now when I must go to that dealership for service, I instruct them not to wash my vehicle. I've also since had ceramic coating applied.

This is mine at the time of delivery
Get it off the truck: Check
Do a safety check: Check Put a tank of gas: Check Hand me the keys: Check Folks at BMW Seattle have been amazing and this is exactly how the car is sitting in my garage right now. Nothing better than picking up a brand new car that is unprepped & dirty. She will get her 1st full bath, interior protection and ceramic coating over the weekend. On Monday, off to PPF and tint

As far as telling them not to wash it, I did that before once and it still came out washed from dealer..... how hard is it to follow directions? Next time I have to go to dealership, I'm going to put signs that says 'DO NOT WASH' on my dash and on the window. |
