Replaced the chrome grill with black and absolutely love it. I find it strange that the shadow line package doesn't include a black grill.

Shadowline package never contained black grills. Only black windows trims, and parts on the mirrors.
My M340iX have Extended shadowline package with black grill, black front bumper air intakes and black exhaust tips.
If you want dark front lights, you have separate option Shadowline lights.
If you want black outside mirror caps, you have option Shadowline mirrors...

2022 shadowline package includes shadowline lights. At least for the US

Thanks! Not a complaint, just weird that the only chrome on the car is the grill and emblems after everything else is blacked out.

I still think the grill looks horrible. Hopefully the aftermarket will fix this soon.
