Mild Hybrid or not in Australia?

This week I got the greatest shock of my life when I discovered my M340i built in Munich on 5-5-2021 is not a mild hybrid, it's a pure fossil incinerating beast.

When did you guys in Australia get the mild hybrid? I thought everything from 2021 was mild hybrid but apparently not!

I had read about the US getting this and asked when I ordered my car and was told 2023 cars here are still not hybrid.

The 285kw version from 2021 features a 48-volt mild-hybrid system that improves efficiency and makes the automatic stop/start system smoother.

Are you sure that's the same here in this local market though? I asked that specifically and the dealer told me Australian cars do not have the mild hybrid as that's a US market feature.

when i bought the dealer said not mild hybrid and i laughed at him.

over a year later i discover i am wrong
