33k brake service
Around 4mm left on my pads and maintenance reminder counting down…. Going to buy oem replacements at FCEuro, have 2 qs:
Do I need new sensors? Are they priced ea or in pairs? Assume rotors can last far longer, what’s everyone else experience with initial rotor life? Just my daily and never really pushed hard beyond entrance ramps 😉 Cheers |

You can expect to break the sensors if you try to remove them from the old pad, so you'll need new ones for front and rear. Rotors should last quite a while, but if you have measuring calipers, what you can do is measure them when you're installing the new pads. That might give you a sense of how long they'll last compared to your pads.

Min thickness is stamped on the rotors. You can measure with calipers and see how much thickness is left and compare to what the min thickness is.
Sensors are one per axle: driver side on front, passenger on rear. They are priced per sensor. They are $25 or so, so just replace, though I've reused in the past (actually currently doing so after I swapped out for track pads). |

Thanks for all the help! Finished the job and rotors looked good. Took advantage of every tip and the DIY on the site. Only issue was FCEuro shipped me the wrong sensor 🤷🏼 at least they are sending out a replacement….

I’m on my 3rd incorrect cable shipped from them…. Kinda crazy and hope they can get this figured out.
