No one wants or needs two separate forums. But a thread specific to 4 Series owners isn’t too much to ask nor is clarification in all threads when someone makes a claim about their car without saying they are talking about a 3 Series and not a 4 Series.

The point the OP was making is that 4 owners feel out of place sometimes so a bit more structure so that we can get right to the answers we need isn’t a bad idea. And I agree with that.
