Took delivery of my nardo grey m340 m performance edition two weeks ago, chipped windshield on highway last night and curbed my left front wheel driving out of car wash! Really hate my life now.

I can relate. A month after getting the m340 I scraped the rim coming out of the garage. That being said lets put things in perspective. We survived a pandemic and are fortunate to afford such nice toys. After all it is just a car and it can be repaired. Considering that, Life is good. You will be ok.

No worries, those can be easily fixed.

Your auto insurance may offer free(no deductible) chip repair on windshield, do check with them.

Local dealer/indy fixes curbed rim for $150-ish, so ask around your locales.

I curbed my front passenger-side wheel trying to whip a quick U-turn. I wasn't familiar with the surprisingly boat-like turn radius of this thing (LSD is NOT rear-wheel-steering) and just clipped the corner of the curb.

I wouldn't have minded much because of wheel and tire package, except that I had my father in law in the car and was showing it off for the first time. Derp.

Mechanical car washes tho… 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Never. Nobody touches my paint.

A month after I got mine a truck tire exploded in front of me and a slab of rubber flew into my bumper knocking my lip loose and scratching the paint. Makes me angry everyday I have to look at that.

Never, EVER take your car to one of those car washes. Probability of curbing or getting your rims scratched is high. I wash my own car nowadays.

These machines were meant to be enjoyed and driven hard.

First damage is always the most painful — just means she's a driver and ready for more adventure! Repair if/when possible and keep driving!

Stop driving close to trucks.. they are a magnet for rocks that they proceed to fling all over the place. I hope you had that tire and wheel wirth cosmetic.

Every time the wife is driving on the highway, she'll get in the left lane, find a massive 18-wheeler and then just sort of camp out in the line of fire of its tires.

Thank God for PPF.

There is a few, exoshield, but not great long term appearance, there is also clearplex

And STEK has one now which is more like a PPF, we've been testing it in Alberta canada for over a year, so far really good.

I got a nail in my tire on my way back from the dealership (first day with the car)

A month later on a windy night a small tree fell on my car and caused a few dents/dings scratches on the car

Hopefully my misery makes you feel a little better

STEK dynoflex is good stuff.

I've had it on my M3 windshield for a couple of months already.

At least that can easily be fixed though, and for free if you go to Discount Tire.
