Unhappy Windscreen washer fluid low

Is it me or is there no warning when the fluid gets low?
Amazing if not......

Mine too. There was a local shortage of washer fluid where I live so for a week the car warned me about the washer fluid level every time I got in.

LOL - I should have remembered I was posting in the pedants forum

You're absolutely correct I should have said: the washer fluid level on my car was low and because of a local shortage of washer fluid I was unable to fill it up. This resulted in the car repeatedly telling me the washer fluid level was low.

You mean if a fog light fails? If the front or rear ones are on there’s definitely an indicator light as the law requires it.

I get a symbol for fog lights (as well as the initial text).

Really weird that it's different. Mine too shows a brief message when switching on front or rear but then there is an indication on the dashboard (on right-hand side) and on the button itself.

Might be a silly suggestion, but are you sure it ran out and its not just frozen from the current weather?

Typically for me when the temperature drops below 0, my washers stop working until I drive the car for a while (normally only do very short trips). I have anti-freeze so I know its not the liquid itself freezing.

There is definitely an alert when the washer fluid is low, it even shows in the app.

No it definitely ran out. No dash symbol. Maybe text that i missed.
So far mine have never frozen. I assumed there was a heater on a car like this prevent it?

There is a warning chime to accompany the text plus you get the generic warning exclamation mark on the dash which will direct you to see the message again in the messages section. Also it shows in the app. It doesn’t seem likely you could have missed all that so perhaps the level sensor has failed. As for heating, the nozzles are heated but that’s all.

Mine is doing the same too - ran out without any notification. I wonder whether it’s a software bug?
