Wondering how the bridge collapse will affect deliveries?

I was wondering that as well. Haven't tracked ships into Baltimore since last year - but I believe the boats do have to go under what was once the bridge. Looks like there will be a short term impact at the very least. There was one East coast ship last year that skipped Baltimore altogether. The consensus around here was that the ship unloaded the cars in NJ and trucked them to Baltimore. Probably not feasible unless that shipment has much less than the usual volume of cars destined for Baltimore.
While we are on that topic, anyone on Glovis Crystal? That has to be a BMW ship headed to Baltimore in the next few days. Last edited by benz330e; Yesterday at 02:37 PM.. |
