Forgive me Father as I have sinned.......

as i went and had a look at the new ix when in for the wheel arch recall and i rather liked it, new screens and all! . Not sure it was £100K worth of car but it was really nice inside and very well put together. So just out of curiosity I think I'll give it a test drive along with the i4 M50 which unfortunately was out on a drive so couldn't have a gander at that

Anyone else had a good look at either

Test drove the i4 M50. Interior and general drive excellent. A bit strange and unstable under full sport boost launch - front lifts and steering squirms. Had tried the same in a TM3P and no such behaviour under launch.

I like the iX but the price is ridiculous, as are any decent EVs. Even a well specced Kia EV6 (which is really good other than some interior trim) is over £60k.

I woukd like to have gone electric but it feels, about five years away to make it practical.

SO I got an 840 instead…..

Out of interest, did BMW contact you about the wheel arch liner recall, or did you check the BMW recall website?

Thanks.

Mine was done when I took it in for a service, that was the first I knew about it - it’s not an urgent recall so I don’t think you will be contacted by bmw ……..unless,you never get your car serviced!
