Well, what a tease it's going to be having to run it in properly... its quite the machine. Off to the detailers tomorrow morning so I'll post pics when it's in all its glory later this week.

Just to confirm and hopefully give some hope to others waiting I have touchscreen. I'm not sure whether wireless charging is there and just not working through my phone case or it's just not there. Android auto also working as expected.

Congrats on FINALLY getting the car, must be a relief after such a wait. Looking forward to seeing pics as soon as.

Reverse Assist - ??
Digital Key - ??
Rails in the luggage compartment - ??
Remote lever for rear seat folding - ??

My August M340i Touring order still looks to be a few weeks away from build so still agonising wait on my part

The current order status is 9630 - Exit from port or compound. Your car is estimated to be delivered on the week starting on the 1st of Februray.

Which means your car has now arrived in the UK and is due to arrive at your chosen BMW Centre shortly. They will contact you soon to arrange a hand over appointment.

Yes, been an exciting 12 hours for sure, the drive to the detailers this morning was an event even though I never got over 2000rpm haha.

So I can answer all but one question as I'm not sure what you're referring to but see below:

Touch screen: Yes
Reverse assist: Yes, I think, it has the option available but haven't tried it
Digital key: Yes, I think, got the email and the option is there in my app but again haven't tried it and probably won't.
Rails in luggage: this is the one I'm not sure on, can you clarify?
Remote lever: Yes, very handy.

Now to get through a week of work before seeing it again. I terestingly enough, driving home from the dealer returned 39mpg on mixed roads and driving to the Detailer this morning returned 38mpg on mixed roads. The drive home in my g30 520i wasn't anywhere near as much of an event and it only managed 34mpg for the same trip, albeit reversed. Magic I tell you.

I'm getting excited again just reading this, the delays are painful.

The rails I was referring to are on the floor in the boot of the G21 (with comfort or comfort plus pack).
I believe they are supposed to raise to secure the load when driving?
I read somewhere that they might be removed due to shortages together with the remote lever for folding rear seats.

Pretty sure if you have digital key then you have the wireless charging as it asks you to pop it in the tray when setting it up?

I tried my phone without the case this morning and it didn't seem to do anything, ill try my wife's phone when I get the car back.

Haha, I normally do my own detailing but wanted to get something professionally installed so I can maintain it. Also having front and rear bumpers ppf'd. Once it's protected I can enjoy it 😁

Sorry took a little longer than anticipated to pick this up! Mine was a December build but only collected yesterday (has been sat at the dealers for a week until I could collect)

Not 100% sold on the black alloys but wanted the Shadowline grille, headlights and wingmirrors so may look to swap them out at some point
