Shipping Block Spacer, or Rubber Boot Holder?

2022 M340ix, 800 miles. From the day I picked it up, I thought the rather large wheel gap was normal for this XDrive,
and the suspension would eventually settle a bit. Also, saw other 3 series with about the same wheel gap, so I thought normal.

Took a peek yesterday under the rubber boot, and saw the attached white plastic piece on both front shocks. Rears don't show the same thing.

I did a search, and can't determine if those are shipping blocks not removed during PDI, or whether those are normal,
and in place to keep the rubber boot cover attached, and from riding up.

I tried to feel above that plastic piece to see if there are more blocks above, but doesn't feel like there is anything there.
Also, can't lift the boot cover up high enough to see anything more than a 1/4".

Of course, I could take it to the dealer service, but I'd like to avoid that. Ride has been fine, nothing obviously strange, but has been a bit harsh lately,
which I chalked up to mid teen cold temps lately, making the tires ride like rocks.

Appreciate any ideas. Thanks.

I can probably tell you tomorrow if my 330e Xdrive has the same.
Im getting it lowered since I cant stand the wheelgap anymore...
My G21 is also riding 17mm higher in the front compared to the back for some reason (its normal acc. the dealer....)

Appreciate that. Thanks
I keep thinking it’s normal for XDrive and I can’t feel any
blocks above that plastic part, but I can’t see for sure
under the rubber boot.

Slightly off topic, where are you going for the install?

I'm up near den Haag and I've been looking at Beek Auto Racing - I need my Dinan springs installed. Not sure if there is anywhere better between Amsterdam and Rotterdam?

jg4c the things are indeed to keep the protection from riding up... I had them as well.
helmet91 I went to Cobra Suspension and they have created a set of springs especially for my car since they didnt have them yet. My car is now 30mm front and 20mm from teh back lowered compared to MY original hight.
It is absolutely superb!

Thanks for confirming. Was following your drop in the other thread. Looks amazing. Enjoy.
How’s the ride now with the drop?

Perfect. A very small bit harder but hardly noticable. Haven't hit a speed bump yet and we have rediculous ones here. Parking garage from hell at work also gave no issues today which was my last test
Body roll also wayyy less than before
I do feel the balance is 46/54 since it will slide over the front but at a higher speed than before
