Apex Built Downpipe

So I installed my Apex Built catted downpipe last weekend and all I can say is that I'm totally impressed with the build quality, fit, and performance. It fit perfectly and several hundred miles of driving haven't produced any CELs. The sound is notably improved, as is performance.
They custom made a version of their downpipe with a 400 cell GESI cat that's EPA approved. They were very pleasant to work with and the price is very reasonable compared to the competition.

I'm in the market and was considering the AA catted pipe. Do you have a sound clip?

Graham is a friend of mine and him and the team are top notch. The quality shows for itself, I run his DP and charge pipe on my G42

The part number of the cat should be printed on it.

Existing Apex customers, can you please let us know what it says so we can compare it to what Active Autowerke is using?

They are using GESI 85200 but you cant see it as its encapsulated with-in the pipe not inline like the AA. Also, as I don't have the AA from the pictures it shows them using the GESI 85000 the 300 cell version. You can reach out to Apexbuilt directly and they will help you with your questions \ concerns.

Oooh man! For the value that’s best option! I wish I had see this you had replied earlier. I got the AA catted.

AA did switch to the 85200 btw as well as ams. They just haven’t updated their pics on website.

I'm seeing 1200 for lowest price option, seems like they raised their prices based on some of the reviews showing 900

Those welds look perfect!

Has the install triggered any check engine lights?

I used Apex also but got their catless version. Installation was a breeze and the fitment was perfect. Highly recommend.

maximking states he can remove the CEL remotely. Yes, he's fully aware the 21-23 are locked, but he says he can still do it.

I am wondering if anyone else who had purchased the high flow catted version and run it for a while have had a cel come up. From what I understand, sometime it take a little while before the cel comes one. Anyone who has run it for a while?
