Man. You guys are good at wrapping with vinyl! Makes me want to try it out too.

My question is. How did you guys wrap the trim around the gear shifter? I’m assuming it’s one piece. So how did you guys cut the shape of the column with the shifter and buttons?

Sorry...just saw this question. It is one piece. I overplayed the entire piece with vinyl then began making relief cuts. Once I had it around the shift trim i worked the vinyl with a microfiber squeegee until I could see the outline of where I wanted to cut. Trimmed of the excess then made my final cuts.

A couple things of note...it is holding up very well so far. No bubbles, peeling or lack of adhesion. I did cover the trim piece on the drivers side which seems to trigger the auto dimming feature of the side and rear view mirror.

Can the Alumminum mesh trim get the same wrapping? Would the ribbed texture of the trim pieces screw with the CF wrap? I'm getting my car soon and it has the Alumminum Mesh Trim (I didn't want to wait 6-8 weeks for the car)

Either that or dump 2k on the CF M performance trim kit. Thoughts?
