hello everyone!
after leaving my G31 in the garage (I use the bike in the summer), I noticed that the car no longer drives alone.
When autonomous driving is activated, the green steering wheel no longer lights up but only maintains adaptive cruise control.
I haven't made any recent changes, so I'm wondering what that might be.

can anyone help me?

Maybe OTA update that wiped out the coding?

I have not had ota updates. I have the 03.2021 firmware version and autonomous driving was active since the car was built

Nothing change

I try to search in the manual (on the app ) and now the chapter about drive assistant pro is no longer in the manual

How it is possible ??
Any idea?

I think I will have to take it to the dealership to have the firmware reloaded

Im not sure if your tuned or not, how you feel about OTAs but sometimes glitches like this happen. Usually a fresh update will knock it out and fix it. I was having heavy issues with the BMW app forever and couldnt update because of my tune. Once they could unlock the DME after update, i did it and it fixed alot of issues. Just my 2 cents.

I solved it very simply… putting on the seat belt!

Unfortunately, I often drive without a seat belt and I had forgotten that the insertion of the seat belt is required to activate autonomous driving

Thats hilarious because so do I and for awhile, i was having the same issue. That solved it! Lol totally forgot that happened, sorry man. Would have mentioned it earlier.
