Hi Guys!

Before going into the coding stuff, let me explain first how I got in this point, because as far as I am aware this procedure won't work on all G20 cars with ID6.

Few weeks ago I had to go to BMW Service for a waranty problem. I had some problems with the Comfort Access function and eventually they also made a Software Upgrade to latest firmware (i guess).

Now my firmware it's TT/MT-002.156.007 with Way2021 for Nav (if you need more details let me know). I know that for instance last year I could not have done this coding because my old firmware didn't support this Fullscreen function.

Well....after realizing that they actually made this SW Upgrade I used the following Expert Bimmecode function:

HU -> HMI -> CarPlay Fullscreen - From Nicht Activ to Activ

By the way I have a 2019 G20 with LiveCockpit Plus (not proff) - EntryNav2 as HU

Im exactly in the same boat, G21 with live cockpit and ID6, but with fiemware TT-002.146.002. What eas your previous firmware?

Hi!

I'm not sure what TT/MT version I had before.

What I can tell you for sure is that the navsystem firmware was K1927D1R and now it's Q2051B1R which (year '20 week 51 vs year '19 week 27).

You can find this under Navigation-> option-> version info

Hope it makes sense.

By the way, you can also find some guys on this forum who makes these sw upgrades if the guys from BMW Service are reluctant to this.

now I'm on O2014C1R, googling this found a site ( https://www.flashxcode.com/entrynav2-carplay/ ) that acrivates it via bimmercode for firmware O and above, so probably mine could be activated via bimmercode.
Will try when warranty expires

Ok. I just tried this found the CarPlay full screen under advanced mode.

But then the screen still showed CarPlay in 2/3 - and just a white 1/3 to the right!

What to do?

I also saw something called advanced Apple?

Anyone know what that is??

which firmware do you have?

I have a 2020 BMW g20. My screen only shows CarPlay at about 2/3. Did you code your self?

I have a late 2019 G20 with firmware MT-002.174.001

I am looking to use bimmercode with the ethernet cable to hopefully configure full screen apple carplay.

Could you advise if this is likely to work ?
