Yes.
Had to buy a battery charger from REPCO and externally charge the battery. Then it uploaded straight away.

Annoying, but I'm glad to be back to the old navigation input process.

I did the same and bought a ctrek MXS 5.0 from Repco. Charged it last night and did the update today finally. Went through no issues.
