The thing is that it is pretty hard to believe that the turbo blew up on my car, at only 50.000km. Because of this, they are now replacing the whole engine. They told me that it was not my fault, as i drive it pretty correctly, not at very low RPM but either to harsh, always respecting the car when it is cold. So I do not understand how this could happen.

Mechanical defect is the most likely explanation, and why they are covering the damage/replacement.

These things happen. I had turbo fail on Skoda Octavia with 20,000km and Toyota Land Cruiser with some 80k (though Toyota's Diesel engines are bit shady).
