2022 Bmw 330i Xdrive - Is it 5x112 or 5x120 wheels?
Hey guys, looking to get a winter tire and wheel setup and a lot of new sites are not updated for 2022 models, but I thought I saw somewhere BMW was going to 5x120 is this true or is it still 5x112?

Technically speaking, I don't really measure it accurately, but feels like the diameter between the bolts are more like 112mm than 120mm. And it doesn't really sound reasonable for BMW to change the bolt pattern all of a sudden since the change from 2021 to 2022 is quite minimal.

BMW is now using 5x112mm bolt pattern for the Gxx models in the 3 series. The previous Fxx models (and many others) used 5x120mm.
It gets really confusing when you try to look it up in online references, since every document seems to start out with something like "almost all BMWs use the 5x120mm bolt pattern" and then eventually explains that it is changing to 5x112mm. One reference I found said that this is part of a wheel and hub standardization effort by German manufacturers. |
