Hazard reported ahead?
i've had my 22 g20 about 2 months now. When following a route I sometimes get an audible alert like "hazard reported ahead" or "police ahead" in a different and louder voice than the regular nav. Where does this come from. I have apple CarPlay and Waze on it, but am not using it for nav directions. I also have a trial subscription to the Traffic camera information app. The "hazard" is usually a car on the side of the road.

It's from waze. If Android auto/carplay is connected, it runs in the background and screams those warnings out.

Sounds like Waze for sure. What would be nice is if you could just have it warn you of police and not roadkill and a car on the shoulder.

You can do that. Go to My Waze>Settings>Map display>Reports. From there you can turn off notifications that you don't want. It'll be turned off all the time till you turn it back on.
