Does anyone have a week 40 m340i or m440i build at port or in transit? Mine finished production on 10/06 with no update or movement since.

You're likely waiting for the boat to arrive or you're already on it. I've heard it takes 2-3 days for the tracker to update AFTER your on the boat.

I had a week 37 (9/12) build week and it's been at the port since 9/15 (5 weeks today). I'm also in Florida M440i GC.
Car went from production number to VIN to completion very quickly; waiting for a boat has been painful at best...lol

It's almost like any vehicle built prior to the stop sale was put on the side and are now trickling out, I've seen many cars built after ours, fly right by us, so frustrating lol

I finished the same day. Mine still says ready for transport. Hoping I skip a few steps soon? This waiting sucks and I know others have been waiting longer. Trying to solve the mystery of if I’ll end up on any vehicle carrier entering Veracruz is making me a crazy person…

I am a long time lurker that ordered an M340i in the summer and my car just finished last week (Production Begins was 10/05/22 - Week 40)....got to "Ready for Transport" on 10/18/22. I talked to Genius this week to see how long it may be from here and they had no idea but said November is a maybe and December is quite possible for me.

Dealer had said Dec/Jan when I put my deposit in so although the wait is rough, I knew it would be a while.

I went to in transit today! I think I’m on RCC Antwerp to Baltimore expected on 11/7!

Will be about 12 weeks for my order start to finish.

My car actually flipped to "In Transit" yesterday. When I talked to Genius after seeing that they said it will be 2-3 weeks to get assigned to a ship that will head to NJ. Does that seem like a reasonable timeline lately to others that may be waiting or have taken delivery?

I've got a week 40 build 330e MSport. it sat for two weeks in "ready for transport." Then flipped to "in transit" yesterday. Per Genius - it's on the Antwerp.

My question: why has the Antwerp been sitting off the coast of Alta vista for 24 hours moving no where?

If you haven't noticed, I'm a bit inpatient at this point.

Sorry I’m not sure I understand, it is in transit? Then it’s already on a ship. Probably the RCC Antwerp like me! I heard in port in Baltimore November 7 so probably the 9 in NJ. I’d think 3-5 days from port to your garage. We’ll need the software patch at the port then to get to the dealer. I expect to pick mine up on 11/12

So I think those trackers are… not up to date. It said it was in Altamira and not Veracruz awhile and I am 99% sure we would have been loaded onto the boat in Veracruz…

Yeah it's been sitting off the port of Altamira after leaving Veracruz - it should dock in Altamira today and hopefully leave for Brunswick late today early tomorrow as it's due in Brunswick 11/3

Interesting as what you are saying should make sense. I talked to Genius again and despite it saying “In Transit” they claim the car is sitting at the port and waiting for a carrier? I was advised to call back early next week and see if anything changes. Hopefully I see it by the Holidays….

Yeah I mean actually though who knows, as much as they are like look you can monitor the status of your build and call us, it seems most of the time no one knows shit between place an order and it arriving. So who knows! Hope I’m right tho and you made a boat! Seems like more and more are coming through port that are possible contenders so maybe even if you didn’t there is one quite close for you.

Same situation here (produced 10/6, stayed in final assembly for a week or so, then ready for transport for a week, then skipped a couple steps and flipped to "In transit" on 10/26) - like you I thought my car was loaded on the RCC Antwerp, but I have called Genius multiple times for the past week but they keep saying my car is still at the port and they have not received any updates or info that suggests my car got on a ship.

I talked to Genius again yesterday and they had no ship yet. This time they said it was in a virtual port (which seems to be for when there are too many cars to be in the actual port at Veracruz Mex). I asked for more detail on that and he guessed a bunch of cars may be parked sort of close by but not really “at the port”. I searched online and found cases where some got to “in transit” (I also skipped a couple steps)….and they went backwards to be at the port and then moved back to “in transit” again once loaded on to a ship. I am going to hope for by year end at this pace, unless anyone else knows more and can share.

Finally "In Transit" aboard the Orion Highway. Expected in Brunswick GA on 11/16 should have the car by Thanksgiving.
