Agreed. The Sales guys over at Yark were great. So great that I drove 9 hours from NYC to get my 340i from them

Yup the drive there was miserable especially with a crappy Ford rental but the excitement in picking up the car made the drive a bit more tolerable.

They did give me a great deal and they were the closest dealer that had the closest to the specs I wanted in a '16 model while to '17s were arriving.

I'll probably be custom ordering a M340i so hopefully I can get a deal locally instead of making another trip haha

That’s interesting! I wonder if I looked at the same model you picked! It was a toss up between the m235 and 340i, but I switched gears and went with an M4.
I picked up my M4 in 2016! I went to Akron Ohio instead they had a decent offer compared to Yark at the time.

2 hours east of me.. did a one way rental (took rt. 80), but had a ton of fun

OK. My CA says he’s talked with corporate and NO 340’s for Midwest, East Coast or Southern regions are on the water. The only 340’s on a boat at this time are heading to the west coast. That way all US dealerships will be in sync for the nationwide official release date.

So you East Coast guys that say you are on a boat are lying or you’ve been duped. /sarcasm

So, come on now. The joke is over, right? I’m not the only one left at the port, am I? Huh? Please?

My M340i is on a boat to the east coast, which both BMW genius and my CA have confirmed.

My CA was not able to confirm the market release date. I'll keep everyone updated.

Have you tried calling the BMW genius line? Once you get them on the line and give them your production number they can let you know within a minute if your car is on a ship or not.
