Glovebox lock

My G20 330i came without glovebox lock. On my previous cars I always had it and used it a lot. On the forum I do see that some of you can lock it. Probably depends on the local markets ... I do have the full leather dashboard, not sure if that’s why I cannot lock it. Who can help me with the correct part number? Thanks

That's strange that yours didn't come with a lock. I have the full leather dash as well but mine has a lock on the glove box.

Mine came without a lock even though my manual says it can be locked with the integrated key.

Used to use it regularly on my previous car. However there is a school of thought that it's pretty pointless because a thief that has got into your car will probably use a screwdriver to lever it open, wrecking your dash in the process. Better to let them just open it, and don't leave valuables in your car.
