20” wheels Vosson HF5
Hello all-
Planning to go with the wheels in the subject title. For the front, I think I’m all set in terms of wheel specs/tire combination, however for the rear I’m still a bit conflicted. I really want to go with 10” width wheels out back, but I’m afraid that too much offset either way, and I’ll be poking or rubbing- and do not want to use spacers. I’m currently running Dinan Springs on my RWD M340i along with passive suspension. Is anyone running a “flush” look with 10” wide wheels, lowered on springs, without spacers? If so, please share wheel/tire specs along with some pics. I’ve been messing with willtheyfit.com with different combos - but would really like to see some good pics for validation. TIA |

Your best bet is to call Vossen directly. I have the exact wheels you are considering but on a stock suspension. I spoke to Vossen a couple of times before I purchased them. They are very helpful and knowledgeable about what works on what cars.
Also I found this website to be better for wheel fitment questions.... https://www.wheel-size.com/ Last edited by clone1008; 08-31-2021 at 07:22 AM.. |

Some folks here are running stock GR Supra wheels, which are 19x10 +40 in the back with stock 275/35/19 tires. The 275s are a little shorter than our stock 255/40/19, with 285/35 being better and 295/35 an exact equivalent to our stock diameter. It does look like the 285s would fit under the fender at that wheel width and offset, but not confirmed. 295s would be a gamble.
Regardless, bumping up to a 20” wheel, you’d drop down one step on sidewall aspect ratio. 265/35/20 would be a bit bigger than our stock tires, and potentially stretched on 10” wide wheels, and 275/30 and 285/30 would be a little shorter than stock.
