How to lock car with alarm or tilt sensor disabled?

Hello,

Soon to be G20 owner as of tomorrow and will have to take the vehicle on a ferry shortly after. Wondering if there's a way to lock the vehicle with alarm disabled or at least disable the tilt sensor?

Familiar with the F30 trick of entering from a rear door pressing the master lock button on the dash then exiting out the rear door so will try that. But hoping there's a new solution.

I did read somewhere that locking the vehicle with the physical key will not activate the alarm?

Thanks!

I didn't know that my car had a tilt sensor till I took it in for a tire rotation and they locked the car while changing wheels on the jack and the alarm went off when they lowered one side.

So of I use the key to lock the car, I have to press the lock button again within 10 seconds? Or if my car locks itself (mine has comfort access), I have to press the lock button within 10s of it locking?

Definitely new and useful info for me.

Used this in feature a lot in my F30 and F32 to prevent my dog from setting off the alarm when running into the post office. Glad to hear it's still there for the G20.
