I think it's the AG number. That's what I used with live chat. Got that number from my dealer.

It should be a 7 figure number and would be found at the top of your order sheet.

Still no sign of my G21 M340i ordered in mid-June and I’ll be lucky to see it before Christmas according to the dealer. Going to follow-up directly with BMW tomorrow.

Rapidly losing patience with the process.

M340i order.

What was a December delivery car has been pushed back to week 7 of next year so will most likely wait for March 1st 2022 at this rate.

Annoying but nothing you can do.

My M340i has been somewhere between Munich and UK for over a week and the delivery date has slipped a week to w/e 21/11. I can live with that based on some of the stories above!

Hey everyone, I heard it might be possible to get a better idea of where my order is if I give my order number to one of them online Genius, but every single time I go onto the website the little chat window doesn't properly load. Doesn't have anywhere to enter any text.

Anyone else have this issue?

I noticed the same in the last couple of days too.

If you know the order number you can call BMW UK on 0800 325 6000 and select option 1.

I called yesterday after 5 PM and was asking if Genius was broken. When I told the guy i was looking for an order update he looked at the system and told me the latest.

Long time reader, I have a G21 M340i on order from mid-june also, was told it would be shipped 1st week in November, ready for me following week, got a call yesterday and has now been pushed back to week 52. Interested to find out how you got on @jimbo_555...?

Was that build in week 52 or delivery?
My order is supposedly being built wk 49 and delivered wk 52.
Originally the expected delivery was this week (wk 44).

Delivery was due next week but I knew for sometime this wasn't happening, its now been pushed back to supposedly a build week of 52 for a delivery in January, dealer/salesman said do not hold him to it, last week bmw genius informed me it was on order and no build week was confirmed, inquired why at the time and was informed just its a factory issue, will follow up with bmw chat tomorrow, just to confirm but suspect this to be pushed further anyway..

I ordered a G20 early June 21. Arrived end of Sept, but dealer did say I was quite lucky as later orders were being pushed out

Has anybody here had their status change to 0500 Cannot be scheduled after being scheduled for build?

I called a BMW a couple of days ago and everything seemed to be still pointing towards starting to build first week in December and then today it appears to be a different story.
I called my salesperson and was told not to worry it sometimes does this but being a worry wart I am now thinking the worst.

Please somebody tell me this happened to them and then next thing it was back to normal

Newbie to the BMW forum, and have ordered a new M340i Touring on Jan 7th.

However dealer seems very slow with updates. In fact I've not had a single one. Should I be expecting a build date?

My current car deal (Alfa Giulia) expires end of June and I'm hoping that I'll have it before then. However reading on here looks like a bit of a horror story for a fair few people.

Things may have changed slightly but I ordered mid August and was supposed to have a mid November allocation guaranteed, it was mid December before it went into build and It was delivered to dealership this morning. Be a while I think

I placed my order for the M340D touring , 29th October iirc. I'm looking at week 20 delivery. I get fortnightly updates, the first of which was roughly a month after order placed.

What confuses me is that updates are due before end of May (around 20 weeks after order) and so I'm unsure if my car will be updated or not.
Bit tricky when you buy something you've seen, tested and agreed on for over £50k, and you end up getting something slightly different!

What updates are due before the end of May? I very much doubt its the LCI updates if that's what you mean, bmw haven't even officially shown it yet and will take some time one would think to stop production of current model and tool up for the LCI version, it would likely be a good few months after official announcement before the first one rolls off.

LCI will be revealed in either April or May. Start of Production is July for it, with the first runs being press/demo/vip orders. Mid September I would imagine "picking up an order" at a UK dealer
